a labor of love

My first book, Ace and the Growing Family, is the first installment of a new series sharing the life of children adopted through the lens of our beloved family dog.

When we adopted our children, there were few children’s resources showing older children being adopted, so I have made that part of my mission. I want older children to be seen and represented in adoption story-telling in the world of children’s literature, and I am very grateful that the first piece of this journey is arriving in the world so soon.

This book has been long thought-about, and this labor of love is just the beginning. I am honored to see you here, and I hope to make connections and provide encouragement and support for you and your family along the way.
